Beyond City Fares 2009 Based on
requests by citizens of Newark and Heath, The
City of Newark’s Transit Operations Department
invites public comment on Earthworks Transit
services beyond the City limits of Newark and
Heath, Ohio. Rides must originate within the
Cities of Newark and Heath.
Effective June 1, 2009:
Passenger fare rates beyond City limits of
Newark and Heath would be as follows: More...
Note: You can pay your fare with cash,
but if you prefer, you can also pay with fare
tickets. Either way, you pay the same fare.
Elderly & Disabled Half-Fare Program
News!
We will
no longer be issuing “yellow cards”
since we will be automatically
entering you into our system, but
you will still need to come to
Newark City Hall to enroll in the
program. Just bring us your proof of
disability along with a picture ID.

enrollment to be processed. If you
