Reservations are available from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Monday through Friday.

Earthworks Transit offers a demand-responsive shared-ride public transit service for citizens of Newark and Heath.

To take advantage of Super Saver Rates, call 740-344-ETET (3838) or TDD/TTY Ohio Relay Service 800-750-0750 by 5:00pm of the business day prior to the trip to get a guaranteed window of 15 minutes before and after your scheduled pick-up time. We will pick you up and take you to the destination you specify. You can also call same day however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide your ride at the requested time.

We can take reservations as early as two weeks prior to your trip.

When calling to make your reservation, please give the following information:

• Your full name, address and phone number (if you don’t have a phone, we must have a phone number where we can get a message to you if needed).
  
• Date(s) transportation is needed.
  
• Exact addresses of any pick-up and drop-off locations.
  
• Time you need to be at your appointment and time you need to be picked up from your appointment. If you don’t know the exact time you need for your return trip, you need to give an estimated return time. If you finish earlier than expected you may call 740-344-ETET (3838) when you are ready for your return & we will try to get to you sooner, if possible. If you are going to be later than expected, please call the number above and let the dispatcher know what time you will be ready for your return & the dispatcher will get you on the schedule as close to that time as possible.
  
• Please let us know if you have any mobility aids or restrictions (wheelchair, walker, cane, service animal, pets, personal care attendant, oxygen, etc.).
  
• Age(s) of child(ren) if they are under 11 years old.
  
• It is Earthwors Transit's policy that children under 40 pounds and/or under the age of 4 years old ride in an approved child safety seat.  Passengers are to provide the seats.
  
• The vehicle may arrive up to 15 minutes before or after your scheduled pick-up time, so you must be ready at least 15 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time.
